Many people suffer from tight hamstrings. I am one of them, having experienced it some years back.

My doctor then told me to undergo physical therapy to make them less tight. Failing to do physical therapy might mean more problems in the future, he said.

This was many years ago, and now that I am delving into spiritual meanings to help others, I have decided that this post should be dedicated to the spiritual means of tight hamstrings.

Like the tightness in your hamstrings, you need to remove the distractions in your life.

2) Having fun is not bad

Many people tend to make it sound like having fun is wrong. But it isn’t.

Our creators want us to make the most out of our lives and enjoy what life has to offer.

When you have tight hamstrings, ask yourself, when was the last time you had fun and enjoyed yourself immensely?

Remember, having fun is not wrong as long as you are having fun at the right place and time, the right way.

3) Wield your power responsibly

Are you in a position of power? Perhaps you are already a boss at work or maybe the head of the family.

Perhaps you are the head of a non-profit organization or a committee or group in your church.

Regardless of where you have power, you need to ask yourself are you wielding this power responsibly?

Unfortunately, many people do not know how to use their power as a force for good.

For some, the power is a license to do whatever they want even if it is wrong or disrespectful of others.

What’s worse is that others use their power solely to get ahead of others, regardless of who gets hurt.

The heavens want you to be responsible in handling whatever power was given to you. The tight hamstrings are a reminder that you must be careful in using your power.

4) Honor your commitments

Are you the type to miss deadlines? Dropout of a project unexpectedly? Don’t show up after saying yes to an invitation?

If you are any of these things or if you are the type to leave people hanging, then you might want to rethink how you do things after suffering from tight hamstrings.

You can start with just a few minutes of your day to stay in a quiet corner, clear your mind and focus on the present.

Praying is one of the most potent tools, not just for our tight hamstrings but for all other pain and discomfort.

Prayer can move mountains and so it can also help us with our illnesses and medical conditions.

Pray that the tightness of your hamstrings be gone or any of the underlying conditions.

Praying also clears the mind much like meditation does.

Journaling:

Just remember that journaling helps manage stress and displeasure.

This means you can also journal to write down the sensation you are feeling and what could have caused it. 

Writing down your thoughts will give you clarity about the physical sensation and how to best treat it.

Reading the word:

The Bible can calm your mind, spirit, and soul, which are helpful in healing not just your hamstring but any other condition.

Reading the bible will not only relax your mind but will guide you on how to live a rewarding life.

There is no doubt that tight hamstrings can be uncomfortable and even painful. But sometimes we need to feel the tightness in this part of our body so that we can receive messages and meanings from the heavens.
